Home invasion
Two men armed with shotguns kicked open the front door of a home at 1311 Maple Street and entered at about 5 a.m. Friday. The suspects held a shotgun on Roshaunda Shackleford and demanded money. When Ms. Shackleford told them she didn't have any money, the suspects took her Razr cell phone and ran from the home. The suspects were described as black men in their 20s. One of the men wore a white jacket and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call Goldsboro-Wayne Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.
Thefts reported
*Someone stole a generator and two power cords, all valued at $910, from a construction site at 138 Center Street. The property belonged to Triple R Electric of Kinston.
*Catalina Velazquez Rivera reported someone broke into her home in the 1500 block of Camp Jubilee Road, Seven Springs, and stole three watches and $220 cash.
