Johnston Pet Adoption open house

SMITHFIELD -- The Johnston County Pet Adoption Center will hold its 3rd Anual Open House on Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Johnston County Animal Shelter at 1320 N. Brightleaf Blvd.
Activities will include a petting zoo, rabies and microchip clinics, dog-training demonstrations and information, vendors, games and chances to adopt a pet, along with food and entertainment.
