Break-ins

*Someone broke into North Carolina Mentor Inc., 401 N. Herman St. and stole two computers, two flat screen monitors and a fax machine, all valued at $1,800.

*Someone broke into Sunsational Tanning, 321 N. Spence Ave. at about 7:35 a.m. Friday. No missing items were listed in the report.

Robbery

Ruth C. Trocino reported she stopped her car in the 1100 block of Olivia Lane to ask a man for directions in front of Kaiser Food Marts. When she did, the man opened her passenger door, snatched her purse from the front seat and ran. The purse contained a cell phone, valued at $150, her food stamp card and other personal identification. The man was described as a slender black man in his 20s. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 140 pounds.

*Dawn Monique Mills reported a man she knew snatched $33 off the table while she was at the Bingo Hall, 1041 N. Berkeley Blvd. and ran from the building.

*Calvin Jackson, 44, Daly Boulevard, Dudley, driving while license revoked, $50,000 bond.

*Samuel White, 51, Devereaux Street, disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, $10,000 bond.

*Robert Ray Flores, 58, streets of Goldsboro, second-degree trespassing, $500 bond.

*Antwon J. Travis, 20, Holly Street, possession of marijuana, $500 bond.

*Linette Wade, 44, Grantham Street, assault inflicting serious injury, assault on a government officer (two counts), resisting an officer (two counts), $8,000 bond.

*Marcus Montrell Mclean, 21, Elm Street, first-degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, $150,000 bond.

*James D'Angelo Raye, 19, Oliver Street, first-degree burglary, robbery, $150,000 bond.

*Paul Antonio Moore, 29, Frank Street, possession of stolen goods, receiving stolen goods, $10,000 bond.

*Dion Mclean, 22, Audubon Avenue, communicating threats, $2,500 bond.

*James Eddie Exum, 63, William Street, DWI, driving while license revoked, $1,000 bond.

*Paul A. Stover, 26, Beech Street, failure to appear, driving while license revoked, $1,500 bond.

*Bobby O.T. Ellis, 46, Slocumb Street, impeding traffic, $500 bond.

*Zoie Gardner Wilkes, 36, Lenoir Street, LaGrange, defrauding an innkeeper, $500 bond.

*Everette McLean, 26, Audubon Avenue, failure to appear, $500 bond.

*Curtis Faison Jr., 31, Durham Lake Road, Dudley, failure to appear, $500 bond.

*Mondevrio Devon James, 22, Wisteria Road, failure to appear, possession of marijuana, $5,800 bond.

Accidents

*Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday on New Hope Road near Cassedale Drive. Justin Davis, 23, of Nellis Road, was traveling west on New Hope Road when he lost control of his 2004 Pontiac and struck a ditch at about 2:35 p.m., according to a Goldsboro police report. The car was traveling at 110 mph at the time of impact, investigators said. Davis, his passengers, Ed Kellerher, 23, of Andrews Street, Jason Kellerher, 22, of Knottingham Street, Plymouth, Penn., were taken by ambulance to Wayne Memorial Hospital. A fourth passenger, Chris Hardick, 19, of Cannon Avenue, was not hurt. Injuries were not considered lifethreatening. Davis was charged with careless and reckless driving. The accident caused $200 damage to a lawn at 101 Cassedale Drive and $3,500 in damage to the Pontiac. No drugs or alcohol were believed to be involved. All parties were wearing their seat belts.

*Ernest Lee McCullen, 34, of Arrington Bridge Road, Dudley, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Friday on Edgerton street and Rudolph streets after his vehicle was involved in an accident with a moped driven by Obadiah Montel Speight, 15, of Edgerton Street. No injuries were noted.

*Gaynelle Williams Bolling, 41, of Holly Street, was cited for failure to reduce speed at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after her cargo truck struck a low-clearance train trussel on Carolina Street. Ms. Bolling was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment . Her injuries were not considered life threatening. Damage to the truck owned by Levi Enterprise was estimated at $20,000.

*Tecorey Jemel Newsome, 20, of Sami Street, was cited for failure to reduce speed and leaving the scene of an accident Wednesday when his SUV struck a parked car on Fairview Circle at about 10 p.m. Total damages were estimated at $9,000.
