*Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday in the 1700 block of Edgerton Street. Lequan Battle, 19, of Holly Street, reported someone shot him in the legs several times with a small caliber weapon. He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment where he was treated and released.
