MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College honored members of the B. Harold and Annie Bell Lamm Williamson family for their contributions over the years.
The Williamsons, Wilson County business leaders and members of Milbournie Free Will Baptist Church, were longtime supporters of the college. At the start of the college's New Century Capital Campaign, the Williamson family donated property that now serves the student computer lab in the new communications building. They also established an endowment to maintain the building, which will bear their name.
"The Williamson family has created a legacy for themselves, and at the same time they have provided a place for students to study," said Jeff Daughry, MOC director of planned giving.
