Literary festival set for April 3-4 at MOC

MOUNT OLIVE -- The sixth annual Literary Festival at Mount Olive College is set for April 3 and 4, featuring Sarah Lindsay, author and finalist for the National Book Awards.
The event is free and open to the public.
Sponsored by the Department of Language and Literature and Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honorary Society, it will also include a poetry slam for students and the surrounding community on the first evening at 7:30 in the Hennessee Room of the Lois K. Murphy Regional Center. The winner of the event will win $100. Participants must register in advance, but the $1 entrance fee can be paid that night. E-mail sclere@moc.edu for an application form.
Ms. Lindsay, a writer and poet, will speak on Wednesday evening at 7:30 in the Hennessee Room.
