MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College is planning a 16-day tour of Burgundy, France, which is open to the public.

The summer program, scheduled for July 16-31, will cover language, art, archaeology and culture.

The two-week study abroad experience will include tours of museums, medieval villages, French farms, two days in Paris and more.

Participants will stay in a local village school. The modern facility includes classrooms, two large kitchens, an indoor swimming pool and living quarters.

Available as a three semester humanities course credit or as a non-credit tour, the curriculum will cover French history, language, art and architecture, culture and customs, and musicology.

The cost of the trip is $2,300 per person and includes lodging, in-country travel, meals, tours and tuition.

Applications can be picked up from the Office of the Registrar or from the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences or by e mailing cdyer@moc.edu. The deadline for submitting applications is April 26, along with a $600 deposit. Reservations will be limited to the first 25 paid applications.
