Two charged in theft

Two Goldsboro men face charges after they allegedly borrowed their employer's truck, robbed of its valuables and then abandoned it.
Jeffery Hardy Sutton, 39, of U.S. 13 South, and Michael Louis Nenni, 35, of D & W Circle, were charged with felony larceny and possession of stolen goods.
The arrests were made after a local contractor who lives on U.S. 13 south reported Dec. 27 someone he knew borrowed his truck and never returned it.
Wayne County Sheriff's Office Chief Investigator Capt. George Raecher said investigators found about $3,300 in tools were taken.
Sutton was arrested Jan. 3. However, Nenni could not be located initially, Raecher said. His name was place in the National Crime Information Center, Raecher said, and he was arrested Wednesday and charged .
Sutton was placed under $5,000 bond and Nenni was placed on a $35,000 bond.
Wayne County Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Rick Farfour is the lead investigator on the case.
