The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will hold another seminar next week for local small business owners and entrepreneurs to help them understand and apply for small business loans.
Sue Malone, president of Strategies for Small Businesses, markets the Small Business Administrative Community Express Loan Program and will be on hand Jan. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chamber board room, which is located at 308 N. William St., to discuss how an SBA community express loan could help finance a business or provide operating funds.
Since Ms. Malone began marketing the program in 2002, she has helped fund more than 9,000 SBA loans.
Seating for the event is open to the public, but limited to the first 30 reservations. For more information or to secure a seat, call the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce at 734-2241. People can also register online at www.waynecountychamber.com by selecting the "Community Calendar" link.
Seats are $10 per person and the seminar will include refreshments sponsored by Save a Lot.
