The Mental Health Association in Wayne County and The Bridge of N.C.'s Peer Bridgers are offering free support groups to anyone interested in developing skills and obtaining support from others dealing with similar challenges.
The Peer Bridger program provides community support services to those in transition from a psychiatric hospital or already in the community who desire to make changes in their lives.
The support groups offer a safe environment where individuals can give and receive support and are facilitated by a qualified staff member.
The support group meets Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the mental health office, 804C Corporate Drive.
To learn more about the program, call the Mental Health Association at 734-3530 or Peer Bridgers at 731-3311.
