Young opera singer Madeline Edwards will perform again for a national audience when a video of her appears on CBS's The Early Show on Tuesday in the second round of the competition.

Madeline, 11, sang "O Mio Babbino Caro" earlier this month and won handily to advance to the next round. If she wins again, she will be in the finals.

Meanwhile, a second Wayne County girl has been selected by the producers of the show as a contestant in "Living Room ... Live! Kids."

Samantha Casey, 10, a fiddle player with a growing reputation in the region, was notified last week that a video submitted by her also had been accepted for the competition. It will air next Monday.

So far, first-round winners have included Madeline, 11, who wowed the audience with the maturity of her voice, a three-boy teenage rock band performing their own composition and a 7-year-old boy who sang "Let it Snow."

Winners are determined by online voting at www.cbsnews.com. Voters have until Wednesday at noon to cast ballots.

Contestants are selected for the weekly competition by the producers of the show.
