Investigations
Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*Someone set fire to a two-door Ford Explorer and caused about $1,000 in damage. The incident was reported Dec. 29.
*Thomas Edward Ohara, 46, of East Mulberry Street, reported Dec. 30 that someone struck him in the head with a beer bottle during an argument at a home in the 200 block of Angie Drive. The male suspect was known to the victim, but no charges were immediately filed. Ohara was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment of nonlife threatening injuries, but his injuries did require stitches, officials said.
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*An unknown assailant pelted a cashier with pepper spray and then bolted from K-Mart with an X-Box 360 Saturday. The suspect ran from the North Berkeley Boulevard store heading north. The game system, valued at $400, later was recovered in a vehicle located in the Save-A-Lot parking lot. The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and a black do-rag. He was described as a black male. He was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighed about 215 pounds. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Goldsboro-Wayne Crime Stoppers at 735-2255.

Wayne County Sheriff's Department filed these charges:
*Jorge Luis Estevez, 20, Barnwell Road, Dudley, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon. Bond pending.
*Anthony James Bruey, 21, Bowden Road, Mount Olive, violation of a domestic violence protection order, no bond.
*Rashard Omar Robinson, 19, South Center Street, Mount Olive, misuse of 911 system, $500 bond.
*Ronnie Levi Barnes, 48, homeless of Fremont, trespassing, $300 bond.
Goldsboro Police Department filed these charges:
*Marquala Deshonne King, 24, North Drive, injury to personal property (two counts), larceny, $500 bond.
*Patrick Coleman, 19, Myers Avenue, second-degree trespassing, $500 bond.
*Shelia McDonald, 53, Saint John Village, Kinston, larceny, $3,000 bond.
*Donna Jean Artis, 42, Alert Cable Drive, Dudley, larceny, $1,000 bond.
*Devaughn Best, 55, homeless, second-degree trespassing, $500 bond.
*Marcus Elexius Dorsey, 39, Cecil Road, Richmond, Va., driving while license revoked, $2,000 bond.
*Satarus Shunta Burt, 24, East End Circle, failure to appear, $5,000 bond.
*Moses Perry, 45, Tarboro Street, assault on female, communicating threats, $300 bond.
*Romel Dennis Terrel Jackson, 19, East Walnut Street, disorderly conduct by fighting, affray, $1,500 bond.
*Monderrio Devon James, 22, Wisteria Road, disorderly conduct, simple affray, $2,000 bond.
*Tristen Melvin, 28, Piedmont Airline Road, communicating threats, $1,000 bond.
*Jamie Melvin, 34, Piedmont Airline Road, assault on a female, communicating threats (two counts), injury to personal property, injury to real property, $250,000 bond.
*Craig Tyrone Kenon, 22, Thomas Trail, disorderly conduct, affray, $1,500 bond.
*Patrick Lewis Coleman, 19, Myers Avenue, affray, disorderly conduct, $1,500 bond.
*Cifany Pickens, 28, Poplar Street, disorderly conduct, affray, resist, delay, obstruct an officer, $2,000 bond.
