Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Someone shot out the rear glass window of a Wayne County school bus with a BB gun. The incident occurred about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on Whitfield Drive and Bizzell Court. Students were on the bus at the time of the incident, however, no injuries were reported. Students named a suspect, however, no arrests were immediately reported. Damage was set at $100.
*Shannon Lee Burlingame reported Wednesday two black males attacked him at Quality Inn on Corporate Drive, and took $43 from his pocket. The robbers, who were believed to be in their 20s, took off in a white Buick. No injuries were reported.
*Liston Allen Moore reported Wednesday someone entered his home through an unlocked back door while he was sleeping and stole a safe with $1,300 inside, a cell phone and other items. Total estimated damages reported was $1,550. The theft occurred in the 600 block of Park Avenue about 7 a.m. Wednesday.
*Someone passed a fake $20 bill at Moe's on South John Street, about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
