Gas drive-off
Employees at the Hasty Mart on Spence Avenue told Goldsboro police officers Saturday that an unidentified black man filled his vehicle with close to $50 in unleaded gasoline and left without paying. No description of the car was available, officials said.
Man allegedly beaten inside club
Jason Wayne Long of Faison told Goldsboro police officers he was assaulted inside Camron's Clubhouse and Grille on Ash Street early Saturday morning by bouncers there. Long alleges he was seated at the bar when a woman approached him, and before he knew, people were accusing him of touching the woman. He was then ap-proached by the club's bouncers, who proceeded to beat him severely, he told police.
License plate stolen
A Goldsboro woman told Goldsboro police officers Friday evening that the license plate was stolen off her Buick LaSabre. Melanie Carol Bowden of Best Street said the plate was on the vehicle before the car was towed Friday and was gone when she went to retrieve it.
