Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*Police arrested one of three suspects who allegedly robbed a Goldsboro man at gunpoint Monday night. Desi Dion Gardner, 40, Mark Edwards Road, was charged with armed robbery in connection with an incident that occurred about 10:45 p.m. Monday. He was being held at the Wayne County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Gardner is one of three suspects that allegedly robbed Rapheal Bizzell at gunpoint in the 1300 block of Olivia Lane. Bizzell told police that two men and one female robbed him. The other two suspects are now being sought by police.

*Wilfred Daffron Lindley reported someone approached him from behind on Monday and stole $75 from his pocket in the 1900 block of Ash Street. The suspect then ran. The elderly victim was not hurt during the robbery.

*Goldsboro police detained a Goldsboro woman who attempted to defraud a credit union out of $4,750 using a Nigerian Internet check scheme. Heather Elice Williams, 23, Vandenbery Street, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense . She was being held at the Wayne County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:

*Larry Pierce of the Belfast Fire Department reported someone set fire to a trash can at Wayne Community College Sunday morning. The fire caused $1,500 in damage to the trash can and outside of building.

Accident

A Pikeville man and his passenger were injured when his pickup truck overturned during a two-vehicle crash on Walnut Street and Madison Avenue Monday about 2:45 p.m. Robert Leverne Huggins, 35, of Bartlett Road, and Lisa Windham Huggins, were treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital Morris Ray Davis Jr., 40, of True Vine Road, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
