Mount Olive Thanksgiving

MOUNT OLIVE -- The annual Community Thanksgiving Service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.,m. at First United Methodist Church in Mount Olive.
Dr. Burkette Raper, president emeritus of Mount Olive College, will be the guest speaker for the service. Non-perishable foods will be collected for the Helping Hands Mission food pantry and an offering will be taken up for Area Churches in Action. The event is sponsored by the Mount Olive Area Ministerial Association. For information, call Dr. Dennis Atwood at 658-2062.
