The telethon will be shown on Time Warner Cable's PACC 10 TV. The telethon will showcase live interviews and performances from 20 local singers. Proceeds will benefit Crime Stoppers.
A $10 pledge buys one vote. A $25 pledge buys three votes. A $50 pledge buys three votes and a DVD of the singers' performances. A $100 pledge buys four votes and a DVD of the singers' performances. The winner with the most votes will win a half-day recording session at Tutt Productions in Kinston and $1,000 cash.
