Retired legislator will speak at WCC

Jimmie Ford, retired WCC associate vice president and former Wayne County commissioner and state legislator, will speak Nov. 15 at Wayne Community College from noon until 1 p.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building.
The free event is sponsored by the college's Gamma Chi chapter of the Phi Beta Lambda business education student organization and the information systems faculty. Registration is not required.
A colon cancer survivor, Ford is now a self-employed motivational speaker who supports many causes and volunteers his time in Wayne County. He will be talking about inspiration through humor.
