A free seminar designed to help employers and staffs deal with conflict will be held next month at Wayne Community College.
The Business and Industry Center is sponsoring the session on "Workplace Conflict" on Thursday, Nov. 9, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building. Pre-register by November 7 by calling 735-5151, ext. 334.
Presented by Cheryl McAlphin, it will cover four ways of dealing with conflict - communication, boundaries, emotional intelligence, and behavioral consequences. Workplace team-building also will be addressed as a resource for making positive changes.
