Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*An officer suffered minor injuries during a struggle with an inmate in the Wayne County Jail's booking office Tuesday morning. Officer Thomas Collins reported Rapheal Bizzell, 56, of Ruskin Road, Dudley, punched him in the chest and injured his thumb during a struggle. Bizzell was charged with assault on a government official. Bond was set at $3,500.
*Someone broke into the Salvation Army's church office between Tuesday and 2 a.m. Wednesday and stole a VCR/DVD combo player, valued at $150.
*Deandre Council reported someone climbed into his home on Kennon Court through a window Tuesday and stole clothes, jewelry, and a portable DVD player, all valued at $5,670.
