Former Pfc. Jack Lucas, the youngest Marine ever to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, salutes his audience at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Monday. At 15 years old, after lying to get into the service and sneaking onto a troop ship headed for Iwo Jima, Lucas dove onto a live grenade to save his comrades from certain death at the hands of enemy soldiers.
