Prenatal education classes to be offered

The Partnership for Children of Wayne County will offer a series of prenatal education classes for expecting parents beginning Tuesday, September 5th. The "Growing Pains" series will be conducted by trained professionals and will include information on prenatal nutrition, labor, delivery and recovery, breastfeeding and basic infant care, finding qquality child care and parent resources.
A tour of the hospital's birthing facility also will be held.
The classes are offered at no charge, and mothers are encouraged to bring husbands or other support persons.
The series will be held at the Partnership for Children office at 800 N. William Street. For more information or to register, contact Lora Lee at 735-3371, ext. 229. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
