Final jam of downtown season today

The final concert of the summer Downtown Jam series sponsored by the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. will be held this evening, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
The show will feature The Embers, one of North Carolina's best known bands and beach-music tradition.
Food and beverages will be available. Coca Cola is one of the event's regular sponsors and donates all proceeds from their sales to the Boys & Girls Club.
The show is held in the parking lot behind the Waynesborough House on Center Street.
