Fill-the-Boot drive starts Friday

Wayne County residents are reminded that Goldsboro firefighters will be soliciting donations at Wal-Mart on Spence Avenue Friday through Sunday for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The annual Fill-the-Boot campaign raised more than $8,000 last year to help local families who have family members suffering from the disease or a related neuromuscular diseases. Organizers say they hope to raise $10,000 this year.
