Students advised to register

New students who will be attending high school in the southern end of the county are encouraged to schedule an appointment for registration.
Students new to Southern Wayne and Spring Creek high schools should contact the schools. Needed at the time of registration are a transcript (for grades 10-12), report card for ninth grade, birth certificate, guardianship paperwork, if applicable, shot record and two proofs of addres.
Student schedules can be picked up at Southern Wayne from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. They will also be available during the school's open house Aug. 22. At this event, incoming students can meet faculty, determine bus routes and obtain teacher supply lists.
Open house at Spring Creek for grades 7 through 12 will be Aug. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sixth-grade students' open house will be Aug. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
