MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College at Mount Olive is accepting applications for the Heritage Plus program that will begin Aug. 21.

The program is the latest in a series of curricula that the college has specifically designed for working adults. The four-semester format provides students with little or no college credit with the core courses needed for an associates degree. Participants attend class one, four-hour evening class per week for 102 weeks and complete the required courses in about two years.

To accommodate the busy lifestyle of working adults, each course is presented in an accelerated format, one after the other. Books are provided to students the week before each course begins, along with a schedule for class assignments. Students share the classroom with professors and other adults with similar goals.
