Head Start signup on Tuesdays

WAGES Head Start and Early Head Start will take applications for enrollment the next two Tuesdays, July 18 and July 25, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
Applications will be taken at all five locations -- Royall Ave. Center at 601 E. Royall Ave., Carver Center at 612 S. Breazeale Ave. in Mount Olive, Pikeville Center on Smith Street in Pikeville, Royall West Center at 507 E. Royall Ave. and Chestnut Center at 505 E. Chestnut St.
Parents or guardians applying for the Head Start or Early Head Start programs for their children should take the following with them: child's birth certificate, Social Security cards for parent and child, income verification through W-2 form or most current paycheck stub, child's immunization record, child's most current physical signed by a doctor, child's current Medicaid or private insurance information, parent's Medicaid card or private insurance information for children up to age 3, verification of child's special need and food stamp verification letter and identification number.
