Center Street Jam Thursday

The band Mardi Gras will provide the entertainment at this week's Center Street Jam, sponsored by the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp., and BB&T.
The party will be held Thursday, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Residents are urged to bring their lawn chairs and dancing shoes. Food and cold beverages will be available and a Krispy Kreme doughnut-dipping contest will be held at intermission. And the DGDC will be filming a video for Crime Stoppers, featuring members of the audience lip-syncing to the words of "Downtown," by Petula Clark.
