Two named to All-State Orchestra

Two area violin students were selected to be part of the eastern region Junior High All-State Orchestra.
It was the third time that Claire Peterson and Andy Wagner, students of Krista Cala, received the honor.
Miss Peterson, an eighth-grade student at Parrott Academy, is the daughter of Terry Peterson and Claudia Ziebis of Goldsboro.
Wagner, 13, is the son of Rick and Barbara Wagner of Goldsboro and a ninth-grader at Eastern Wayne High School.
About 40 students from around the state were chosen from about 160 who auditioned.
