The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce will work in conjunction with the Wayne Community College Military Business Center to sponsor a seminar on March 29 concerning ways to do business with the federal government.
Doug Simmons of the Military Business Center will facilitate the seminar. He will educate the consumer on how to take advantage of the many opportunities to do business with the government.
Small business owners can learn about what it takes to do business with the government and every military base east of I-95, Simmons said.
"This can allow businesses to get connected and let them know that it's not too difficult to get involved with the bases," he said.
Small businesses that expand operations with the government and military bases provide themselves opportunities to grow financially, Simmons said.
"A business can better position itself when bigger and better things come along," he said.
The seminar will be held in the Chamber Board Room, located at 308 N. William St. Registration is $10 per person for each seminar. The first seminar begins at 8 a.m. and another will be held at noon.
