Crop assistance deadline Tuesday

The deadline to apply for Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance is Tuesday. The program provides financial assistance to producers of noninsurable crops when low yields, loss of inventory or prevented planning occurs due to natural disasters.
Crops eligible for NAP coverage include many vegetables and fruits, including cucumbers, watermelons and beans, peas and peppers of all types.
