A funeral service was held today for the baby found in Goldsboro's sewage plant Thursday. The casket and flowers for the little girl, who has not yet been identified, were provided by the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The service is being conducted by the Goldsboro Police Department. The card on the flower that adorns the top of the baby's casket reads: "You are in the best hands now. Someone who will always be with you." Anyone with information is asked to call lead police investigator M.K. Horstmann at 580-4213 or the Crime Stoppers hotline at 735-2255.
