The Goldsboro City Council will consider rezoning two tracts of property and approval of several building landscaping and renovation plans at its meeting Monday.

The council meets at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall following a six-month budget review in the anteroom.

The tracts considered for rezoning are on the south side of Greenwood Street between Patetown Road and Greenwood Street Terminus, to allow church parking and church activities, and on the south side of Wayne Memorial Drive between the U.S. 70 bypass and Lockhaven Drive, from general business and office to shopping center.

Site plan or landscape plan approval will be considered for work at Uchiyama America, Ash Street Commons, Golds-boro Honda, A Step of Class, Goldsboro Builders Supply, Greenbrier Office Park and Mitchell Eye Center.

Also for consideration will be bid requests for Slocumb Street sidewalk improvements and condemnation of dilapidated houses at 105 N. Slocumb St., 225 E. Vine St., 305 Pearson St. and 309 Pearson St.
