Goldsboro native pens WCC play

The Wayne Community College Fine Arts Club will sponsor performances of a play written by a Goldsboro native.
Spat, written by Ayinde Hurrey, will be performed Jan. 21, 21, 27 and 28 at 8:15 p.m. in the music room of the Dogwood Building. Matinees will also be performed at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 22 and 29. General admission if $8, and faculty, staff and students get in for $3.
Hurrey is the son of Anne and Raymond Hurrey and the owner of Hurrey-Up Stage and FilmWorks. The company is an educational non-profit organization that holds workshops and plays.
