Wanted
Three people are wanted by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office on two felony warrants for breaking and entering and one felony warrant for larceny.
Brian Curtis Herring, 30, of Smithfield, Amy Herring Ham, 23, of Hugh Street and Ricky Thomas Pollock, 38, of Smithfield may be in Johnston County.

Anyone with information on the location of any of the three people was asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at 731-1480 or Goldsboro-Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 735-2255. Callers may remain anonymous, and they may be eligible for a cash reward, if their information leads to an arrest.
2 hurt in wreck
Two people were injured and damages were estimated at $36,500 in five recent traffic accidents in Goldsboro, police reported.
*Both drivers were injured and damages were estimated at $10,000 in a two-truck collision at 9:59 a.m. Saturday at the new traffic light at South Dr. M.L. King Jr. Expressway, the U.S. 117 bypass, and the new U.S. 117, Goldsboro police said. Anthony Todd Cox, 38, of Rosewood Road and Riley Kemp Lewis, 27, of Ashworth Drive were treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital, a spokeswoman said. Cox, who was going south, was charged with a stoplight violation. Lewis was traveling north. Goldsboro firefighters assisted at the scene.
*A rental car ran off the left side of Royall Avenue and down a bank, stopping next to railroad tracks at 4:03 a.m. today, police said. The driver, Amanda Jean Holt, 23, of Linwood Avenue, was not injured. She was charged with driving while impaired and driving left of center. Damage was set at $4,800.
*Damages were estimated at $9,000 in a two-car collision at 6:06 p.m. Sunday at North Spence Avenue and an exit ramp to Dr. M.L. King Jr. Expressway, the U.S. 70 bypass, police said. One northbound driver, Rosalie Davis, 77, of Newark, Del., was charged with a safe-movement violation. The report said Ms. Davis was merging into the right lane and her car collided with another northbound auto, driven by Son Ok Stephens, 49, of Gurley Dairy Road, Pikeville.
*A pickup truck was demolished in a wreck at 1:50 a.m. Sunday on New Hope Road near Darby Place, police said. The report said the truck had run off the left side in a left curve, overturned and struck a lamp post. The driver, Troy Robert Moreau, 24, of Leaning Post Lane, LaGrange, was charged with driving while impaired and reckless driving. The truck was valued at $6,000. Other damage was put at $200.
*Damages were estimated at $6,500 in a two-vehicle crash at 3:55 p.m. Friday at South John Street and Bunche Drive, police said. A westbound motorist, Billy Brice Carroll, 75, of U.S. 13 South, Dudley, was charged with a safe-movement violation at a stop sign. The report said Carroll's pickup truck had collided with a northbound sport utility vehicle, driven by Alisia Marie Ariepe, 21, of Annies Avenue, Dudley.
Vehicle stolen
A 1999 Jeep Wrangler was stolen Sunday from the owner's home in the 800 block of Old Smith Chapel Road, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. The vehicle was found later Sunday by Duplin County sheriff's deputies and stored.
The Jeep, valued at $5,000, was owned by Arnold Eris Jones, who also reported the theft of a digital camera, valued at $200, from a pickup truck.
The thieves, however, left another vehicle at Jones' home. The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck had been reported stolen on Sunday by Charles Lee Sutton Jr. of Kenansville.
Officers assaulted
When Goldsboro police investigated a shots-fired call Saturday night on North William Street and tried to arrest a man, the officers were assaulted, a police report said.
A clerk at the In and Out convenience store at 1022 N. William St. reported that a black man tried to buy alcohol at about 8:15 p.m. and left after he was asked for his identification. Moments later, a gunshot shattered a store window, the report said, causing about $500 in damages.
Officers Dave Cloutier and Earl McIntyre arrived and tried to arrest one man, Freddie Forrest, 21, of Maple Street. Forrest allegedly struck McIntyre, and a second man, Demond Terrel Forrest, 26, of East Mulberry Street, then struck Cloutier.
Both men were arrested and charged with assault on a law-enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Each was placed in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of a $1,500 secured bond.
School break-in
About $450 worth of snacks were stolen between Friday and Saturday from a concession stand at Charles B. Aycock High School, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported. The thieves also inflicted an estimated $2,000 worth of damages.
About $300 worth of candy and $150 worth of canned sodas were stolen. The thieves entered through an unlocked window in an office, then damaged an office window, a window in the food stand, an interior door, an exterior door glass and cabinets in the concession stand.
Assault
A teenager was assaulted Friday after a thief had broken into a home on Indian Springs Road, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office reported.
Eriberto Emmauel Soto, 14, told deputies that he had heard a noise and then found a white man wearing a black ski mask inside the home. At that time Soto said he was struck with a pipe, and the suspect fled.
After deputies arrived, Soto was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released, a spokeswoman said.
Investigations
Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*A man on Sunday night grabbed $40 from a cash drawer at the Family Dollar store at 102 Five Points Road in Mar Mac and fled, sheriff's deputies said. The clerk said the man entered the store at 6:45 p.m., reached over the counter, took four $10 bills and fled in a car. The robber was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-7 and 160 pound with short, light brown hair.
*A Winchester shotgun, a Mossburg rifle, a television, a DVD and video cassette player combination, video-game equipment and $21 were stolen Friday from a home in the 400 block of Sleepy Hollow Road, deputies said. The thief had pried open a door to get inside. One resident, Edger U. Britt Jr., put a $1,101 value on the firearms, the DVD-VCR and the cash. The other resident, Chris Wagner, said the TV and video equipment was worth $390.
*About $1,000 and a small safe were stolen between Saturday and Sunday after a window was smashed at a home in the 4400 block of U.S. 13 North, deputies said. The resident, James Walker Smith, set damage at $175. The safe was valued at $50.
*Two bullet holes were found in the Southern Wayne Sanitary District water tank on James Hinson Road, deputies said. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
*A set of golf clubs, two additional irons, a golf bag and a power drill were stolen between Tuesday and Friday from a home in the 200 block of Lake Ridge Drive, deputies said. The resident, K.M. Vincent, put a $930 value on the property.
*A lawn mower was stolen between Dec. 14 and Saturday from a vacant home in the 100 block of Crabapple Lane, deputies said. The thief had forced open a door to get inside. The owner, Rhonda Zimmerman of Fort Lee, Va., put a $130 value on the mower.
Thefts
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Two televisions and a DVD player were stolen Sunday after a door lock was damaged at a home in the 100 block of Airline Place, police said. The resident, Todd Carlton, estimated the value of the stolen property at $405 and damage at $50.
*A five-ton heat pump was stolen between Jan. 8 and Sunday from a vacant building in the 1200 block of West Grantham Street, police said. The heat pump, valued at $5,000, was owned by the Alpha and Omega Christian Center of Goldsboro.
Drug charges
Three people were arrested Saturday by Goldsboro police and charged with felony drug offenses.
*Koketia Lakeisha McGee, 22, Fourth Street was charged with possession of cocaine and four misdemeanors -- possession of marijuana, communicating threats, harassing phone call and resisting arrest. She also was held on a probation violation. She was placed in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of a $11,700 secured bond.
*Crystal Gail Crawford, 22, of South Taylor Street was charged with possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. She was jailed in lieu of a $1,200 secured bond.
*Quavoris Kendre Wynn, who did not disclose a home address, was charged with possession of cocaine. Wynn, 25, was jailed in lieu of a $1,200 secured bond.
Fire destroys home
A vacant double-wide mobile home in the 300 block of Hopesway Drive was destroyed today in a predawn fire called suspicious by Wayne County authorities.
A neighbor saw the fire and called 911. Dudley volunteer firefighters and an Emergency Services official responded. After arriving, they notified the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. The home, valued at $30,000, had no electric power, reports said.
