Meth lab found,

two men arrested

Wayne County sheriff's deputies charged Shannon Clyde Grimes, 24, of Wilson and Brian Allen Gardner, 27, of Stantonsburg with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and methamphetamines, and manufacturing methamphetamines after the two were towing a trailer that had been reported stolen early Saturday morning.

On the trailer was a Suzuki motorcycle, also reported stolen.

Deputies also discovered a mobile meth lab, and arrested the men on Spring Bank Road. Bond for both was set at $250,000.

Missing

*Lequisha Shontel Davis, 16, of Woodland Church Road, left home on Oct. 31. She is described as black with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5-foot-5. She may have left toward Virginia with an Hispanic man.

*Edwin Lee "Ed" Scott, 91, of E. Pine Street was reported missing. Scott has Alzheimer's disease and was last seen leaving Circle Tire & Gas on W. Ash Street. He was driving a faded blue 1982 Buick LeSabre. Scott is described as white, 5- foot-2, weighing 127 pounds. He was last seen wearing a beige shirt and beige or gray pants.

Thefts

*Latrish Donnet Ustler reported items worth an estimated $3,000 missing from her home on S. Leslie Street. Items included a ProView television, Sony DVD player and Sony PlayStation 2.

*Curtis Hoiland Morgan reported a Hewlett Packard laptop computer missing from his home on East Maple Street. The computer was valued at $1,200.

*Robert Joseph Collier of U.S. 117 North in Pikeville reported a 19-inch Emerson TV/VCR stolen from his 1993 Isuzu Rodeo when it was parked on the U.S. 70 Bypass on Friday. The television was valued at $187.97.

*A 1985 Buick Century owned by Jerome Michael Wagner of Genoa Road, Dudley, was reported missing from Jones Automotive Repair at 1003 N. Berkeley Boulevard.

Investigations

*Antron Devon Hines, 21, of Olivia Lane, told deputies an unknown subject shot him in the face at the corner of Slaughter and Newsome streets.

Wrecks

*Alan Reid, 37, of Central Heights Road was charged with a stoplight violation after the 1997 Jeep he was driving collided with a 1992 Chevrolet driven by Diane Langford Harding, 61, of S. Virginia Street, according to police reports. The police report stated that Mrs. Harding was traveling north on Berkeley Boulevard when Reid ran a stoplight at the Royall Avenue intersection. Damage to the Jeep was set at $1,500, while damage to Mrs. Harding's vehicle was set at $4,000.

*Total damage was set at $20,100 after two vehicles collided at the intersection of George and Ash streets, according to a police report. Permenas Samuel Bullock III, 36, of Roxboro was charged wtih a stoplight violation after the 2004 Mazda he was driving collided with a 2004 Pontiac driven by Kenneth Garnell Barnes of E. New Hope Road, the report stated.
