QuickBooks workshop at Mount Olive College

MOUNT OLIVE -- The Mount Olive College Agribusiness Center and the Golden LEAF Foundation will offer a two-day QuickBooks Pro workshop on Dec. 6 and 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The cost is $150 per two-person team, which includes instruction, breaks, and a personal copy of the software. The workshop will be held at the Mount Olive College Agribusiness Center located on 545 Michael Martin Drive, Mount Olive. Space is limited to 12 teams. "This workshop will be a great opportunity for participants to get hands-on instruction in QuickBooks, the leading accounting software system for small businesses," said Don Scott, director of the MOC Agribusiness Center. "At $150 per team, it is also a tremendous value, since the program itself usually retails for approximately $275. This is just one more way in which the Agribusiness Center at Mount Olive College is serving the needs of the agricultural industry in Eastern North Carolina."
Dr. Scott and Curtis Smith, a well-known CPA from Kinston will lead the two-session workshop.
