Gauge size incorrectly listed

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Seven Springs town commissioner Danny Carter said when he told the board during a meeting last week the Army Corps of Engineers wanted to install a 20-by-20 stream gauge on the riverbank behind the River House, he meant 20-inches by 20-inches, not 20-feet by 20-feet.
He said the stream gauge will only stand about 18-inches high. It's not going to be a huge structure on the river bank, he said.
The size was incorrectly stated in Thursday's News-Argus.
