Gateway back on schedule

Gateway bus service will resume it's normal schedule Saturday, said system director Stephen Wright. With money saved this week by cutting back certain services, Gateway has the resources necessary to run its typical weekend service, Wright said.
Due to high gasoline prices, Gateway was forced to cut most of its services last week. Wednesday morning, dialysis, medical, employment and education services were restored.
Also, fixed route services within city limits had been set to have a 2-hour headway, running every two hours from 6:45am to 4:45pm. Additionally, Gateway has offered transfers at any stop along the route, allowing passengers to reach their destination at no additional cost.
