Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Margaret Irene Lewis of Durham Lake Road, Dudley, reported the theft of a 1993 Chevrolet truck on Friday afternoon. She told police that keys had been left inside the unsecured vehicle, valued at $2,000, and that there was $2,000 cash inside, also.
*Alice Thompson of Sears in Berkeley Mall told police she saw two men running from the store with items concealed under their shirts. Afterwards, eight portable DVD boxes were discovered inside the store.
*At Belks in Berkeley Mall, a 14-year-old male was reportedly detained by loss prevention personnel until police arrived, and had three pairs of earrings from the store, worth approximately $30, in his pants pocket.
