PRINCETON -- Two incumbent town commissioners will be challenged by a newcomer for a seat on the Princeton town board.
Billy Sutton, a state Transportation Department employee, will oppose David Starling and Larry Withrow for a four-year seat on the board.
The two highest vote-getters will join Commis-sioners Eddie Haddock and Walter Martin Jr., whose terms expire in 2007.
Starling will be seeking his fourth four-year term, and Withrow will be seeking his second full term on the four-man board. He was appointed to succeed Ralph Gurley, who died in 1998.
Incumbent Mayor Donald Rains is unopposed for his third two-year term.
The general election will be held Nov. 8.
