Training for substitute teachers begins

Registration began Monday for substitute teaching training to work in Wayne County Public Schools.
Individuals who are not certified are encouraged to attend one of two sessions being offered at the administrative offices on Royall Avenue.
The first will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 30 and 31. The Tuesday session will be from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The second training session will be held Monday, Sept. 26, and Tuesday, Sept. 27. On-line registration begins at 8 a.m. on September 1.
Early registration is encouraged and can be done on-line by accessing the school system's web site at www.waynecountyschools.org.
