Seymour Johnson Air Force Base is scheduled to receive a P-51 Mustang from the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base. It isn't known if this exact plane SJAFB will receive, but it is representative of the P-51. The 4th Fighter Wing at SJAFB traces its heritage back to WW II and the P-51.
For more information see Base to add vintage plane to inventory.
