A 23-year-old man shot during a confrontation over the weekend is said to be wanted for murder and other charges.
Pablo Baltazar, 23, address unknown, remained in intensive care at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a shooting that happened at a boat landing in Seven Springs on Saturday about 6 p.m.
Lt. Tom Effler of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office said today that the shooting is still under investigation and that no charges have been filed.
Effler said Baltazar is wanted on a murder charge in Lenoir County, as well as on a warrant for failure to appear in court on four charges of drug trafficking in Greene County and one count of escape from the Sampson County Jail.
