Goldsboro Mayor Al King, second from left, seems to be enjoying the first ride of the day on the Kiwanis miniature train Saturday. The Kiwanis Club of Goldsboro celebrated the 50th anniversary of the train in Herman Park with 10 cent tickets. Driving the train is Kiwanian Webster James. Behind King are miniature train expert Ed Janulionis and his wife. Janulionis works for Allen Hershel Co., a distributor of miniature train parts, and is an expert on miniature train history. Hundreds of people lined up for rides throughout the afternoon.
