Lending library closed
The Wayne County Partnership for Children lending library will be closed for inventory from June 27 until July 15.
Any lending library members who have items checked out are requested to return them to the office, 800 N. William St., by June 23.

Bloodmobile at Berkeley Mall
The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Berkeley Mall. Donors will receive a coupon for a free car wash, a Texas Steakhouse coupon and an American Red Cross wristband.
250 seat belt tickets
Wayne County law authorities issued 250 seat belt citations during the second week of the semiannual "Click It or Ticket" campaign to encourage use of passenger restraints.
Police in Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Fremont, Pikeville and Walnut Creek also charged 15 people with child-restraint violations.
Twelve people were charged with driving while impaired, 146 with speeding, 51 with driving while their license was revoked and 177 with other traffic violations.
Police also filed eight drug charges and 17 other criminal violations.
Officers held 32 checkpoints and 84 saturation and random patrols during the week.
The statewide campaign will continue through Sunday.
