Clarification

A story in the April 22 edition of the News-Argus about the Louretha King fraud case should have stated that Ms. King's attorney, Charles Gurley, presented his client's case to the jury, but that he did not call defense witnesses. The defendant exercised her right not to take the stand. The defendant, who was sentenced to 13 years in prison, has appealed the decision.
