Students gain scholarships

MOUNT OLIVE- Three area students have been awarded scholarships to Mount Olive College in the fall.
Matthew McLamb of Goldsboro, a graduate of Southern Wayne High School, is the recipient of a $4,000 Honors Scholarship, renewable each year. He is the son of Tony and Joyce McLamb.
Jonathan Greene of Goldsboro, a graduate of Wayne Christian High School, and Ashley Hartley of Mount Olive each received a $2,000 Leaders Scholarship.
The son of Steven and Dianne Greene is a graduate of Wayne Christian High School. Miss Hartley is the daughter of Ronnie and Yvonne Hartley and a graduate of Southern Wayne High School.
