Book sale
The Friends of the Wayne County Public Library will hold its semi-annual book sale this weekend at the Goldsboro library, 1001 E. Ash St.
The public can look through thousands of books Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m.
The Friends of the Library will have a special preview Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. People will be able to buy memberships at the door.
Proceeds from the sale are used to enhance the county's libraries. For more information, call the library at 735-1824.
