Second pickle clue
A jar of Mt. Olive Pickles has been hidden somewhere in Mount Olive. The first clue was published last week, and for the next three weeks, clues will be printed that will lead someone to the location of the pickles. The pickles will be labeled, "You are a winner in the NC Pickle Festival Treasure Hunt."
The winner should bring the winning jar to the Mt. Olive Area Chamber of Commerce. The winner will receive a pickle pack donated by the Mt. Olive Pickle Company.
The contest is part of the annual North Carolina Pickle Festival set for the weekend of April 22-24.
Today's clue: Patti, be a good sport and show your spirit as you ride the mechanical bull, the twin spin and the carnival rides. Hats off to the festival committee for bringing back the dill pickle pizza and creating a new pickle recipe contest. The long and short of it is that you quack me up whenever you talk about those pig and duck races.
